Expand Your Technology Horizons:

This past weekend, TR24 brought together technologists and broadcasters from across the country for an unforgettable event filled with learning, networking, and exploration of the latest advancements in broadcasting technology. Hosted by Technorama, the event was an incredible success, offering attendees a unique opportunity to expand their skills and connect with industry leaders.

A Weekend to Remember

TR24 kicked off on Friday with an intensive Training Day focused on studio acoustics. Led by Glenn Leembruggen from Acoustic Directions, this hands-on session delved into the fundamentals of studio design, room acoustics, and best practices for creating optimal broadcasting spaces. Attendees gained invaluable insights into how to tackle common acoustic challenges and design studios that deliver superior sound quality. The session, limited to just 12 participants, provided a deep dive into the intricacies of studio acoustics, making it a truly exclusive and enriching experience.

The evening session took us to the brand-new ARN Studios in North Sydney, where participants were given an exclusive tour of one of the most advanced broadcasting facilities in the country. From state-of-the-art equipment to innovative studio design, the tour offered a glimpse into the future of broadcasting. Attendees had the opportunity to network with fellow professionals and meet the technologists behind the studio’s cutting-edge capabilities. This exciting kickoff set the tone for an engaging and insightful weekend.

A Weekend of Innovation and Connection

Throughout the weekend, TR24 featured a series of live discussions, workshops, and presentations covering a wide range of topics, from emerging technologies in broadcasting to strategic discussions on technology acquisition and implementation. Chris Deacon and Stephen Wilkinson shared their experiences and insights in case studies that highlighted the complexities and triumphs of studio upgrades and technology integration.

Why TR24 Matters:

  • Networking Opportunities: Attendees connected with fellow technologists, broadcasters, and industry experts, fostering relationships that will continue to benefit the community.
  • Hands-On Learning: Interactive sessions provided practical knowledge and skills that participants can apply directly to their stations and projects.
  • In-Depth Discussions: From studio acoustics to the future of broadcasting technology, TR24 offered a platform for thought-provoking conversations and shared learning.
