Next TR Tuesday – August 2024

Yes, it’s time for another Chump-stumping session, where you get to ask the questions and then sort the truth from the fiction.

And what a panel we have.  Next Tuesday 27 August from 1830 EAST, join the chief  technologists from two of the largest networks in Australia.

Richard Goodridge is at ARN after a long career with Southern Cross and Austereo, and has just moved the ARN studios from Macquarie Park to North Sydney.   Richard’s first gig was as a 14 year old with community station 5PBA in Adelaide, where he learned the ropes and started his journey.

Michael Loughnan is Chief Engineer for SEN, but he’s been building studios and transmitters since starting as a pirate operator when he was 11.  He’s been with many commercial and narrowcast stations, and was a touring lighting system designer/tech for a while.

Richard and Loffy join regular panelist Stephen Wilkinson,  and anchor John Maizels. to take your questions live and without the safety net.

Spreading knowledge is what Technorama is about, and it doesn’t come better than this.   Doesn’t matter if you’re non-tech: this is a panel that has done it all, and no question is too stupid… even if some of the answers might be suss!

Click on the link right now to reserve your place, and send your advance questions to chumpstumpers@technorama.org.au to get to the head of the queue!
