- nominate a member of Technorama (self or other) to stand for election
- second (endorse) an already nominated member
If you are the Nominator (self or other), it is your responsibility to get an independent Seconder to endorse the nomination.
If you are a successful Nominee, you will be invited by the Returning Officer to supply a statement and a photo in support of your nomination.

These statements will be distributed electronically to members as part of the nomination process, via the Technorama website.

Appendix A. Rules
Nominees and members should be familiar with the Rules of Technorama Incorporated. A copy of the Rules
may be downloaded from the Technorama website via the “Explore” dropdown, or directly from
https://technorama.org.au/corporate-information. The critical sections are reproduced here for your
information only.
Nominators and nominees should be appropriately familiar with the Constitution, which for this year is
versioned “Technorama_Constitution_as_amended_20230322”.
Rule 15: Election of committee members
(1) Nominations of candidates for election as office-bearers of the association or as ordinary
committee members:
a) must be made in writing or electronically in the manner prescribed by the committee.
A nomination must show the assent of two members of the association and must be
accompanied by or be matched with the written consent of the candidate (which may be
endorsed on the form of the nomination, or provided electronically), and
b) must be delivered to the secretary of the association at least 7 days before the date
fixed for the holding of the annual general meeting at which the election is to take place.
and
(7) A person nominated as a candidate for election as an office-bearer or as an ordinary committee
member of the association must be a member of the association.
