Apprentice wanted: paid position leading to Certificate III in electronics

Totally Technical is looking for a bright spark to join our team located in Bowen Hills, Brisbane.

The successful applicant will benefit from a four year formal apprenticeship program, leading to a Certificate III in Electronics and Communications (UEE30911).  This is a full-time paid position, working alongside some of the most experienced people in the business.

What do you need?

A passion for electronics at the component level with a strong interest in any of the following:

• Radio Broadcast
• Production
• Studio Audio
• Protools & related IT/IP Technologies
• PA

will help you succeed in gaining the qualification we require.

Amateur Radio Operators and Readers of Silicon Chip are strongly encouraged to apply.

What does the position offer?

In addition to attending TAFE Block Release, on-the-job training is provided and assessed as part of this Certificate III Program.  Most of your work and training will take place in our workshop in Bowen Hills.

Who are we?

Totally Technical has a wide customer base including commercial and community radio stations, TV Stations, Universities, TAFE, government departments (both State and Federal), recording studios, churches, Entertainment venues, musicians etc.

We work mostly in South East Queensland and Northern NSW, and we have a well-equipped workshop that allows us to achieve the required results for our customers.

What else?

The successful applicant will progress to being part of our installation and after-hours support teams once you gain sufficient knowledge and experience.

Travel for both work and training may be required.
