The aims of Technorama centre around supporting the development and activities of Technologists in Community Broadcasting. If that’s something you’d care to support, we would love to have you as a member.
Currently there are two classes of Membership for Technorama. Both have voting privileges and allow you to participate in the governance and management of Technorama Incorporated.

Delegate Member (Station)(individual): $10 You are a volunteer, staff member or associate directly involved with community broadcasters. You would have a non-commercial (including volunteer) interest in the broadcasting sector, providing an economical option for grassroots participants. Members of Technorama can engage more deeply with the community and gain access to resources and knowledge-sharing platforms exclusive to members.
Supporter Member (Industry worker): $25 You are not primarily a volunteer, staff member or direct associate of a community broadcaster. This class of membership covers you if you are otherwise involved or have a commercial interest in the Sector. You might be industry body staff, a vendor, or an employee of commercial or a training organisation. This membership helps to bridge the gap between commercial interests and community broadcasters, offering networking opportunities and insights into the community broadcasting environment.
Patron Member (Individual/Organisation): $100 Tailored for individuals or organisations desiring to support and influence the direction of Technorama. Members receive prominent recognition on the Technorama website and at events, highlighting their significant role in the community. Additional benefits include:
– Discounts on events to facilitate ongoing engagement and professional development.
– Exclusive networking opportunities with key figures and decision-makers in the industry.
Business Member (Organisation): $350 Business Member (Organisation): $350 Geared towards businesses that seek strategic alignment with Technorama’s goals and activities. Recognition as a TR Supporter on the Technorama website enhances your visibility within the community. Other privileges include:
– An exhibit table where available, at TR events, providing a platform to showcase products or services directly to a targeted audience.
– Two complimentary tickets to the TR signature event, ensuring an opportunity to participate in key gatherings.
– Further ticket discounts to allow broader participation from the company at reduced costs.
How long does my membership last?
Membership is for one year, due for renewal on the anniversary of joining.
Is my organisation a member?
Technorama does not yet have an organisational class of membership, so no. However we welcome individuals in an organisation to become members, and to represent their organisation as individuals.
Why become a member?
Because it’s one of the most important ways that you can show your support. In return, we intend to return value which matches or exceeds the money you have invested. Members receive discounts to Technorama events, may vote in Technorama affairs, and are eligible to be on Committee. As we develop, you can look forward to the range of tangible member benefits being extended.
Technorama members will also gain access to member-only areas on our website as we build repositories of useful info.
