Our presenters

Peter Gill is a Technorama member, a CMTO Trainer and Coast FM Volunteer.  Peter has been actively involved in community and commercial radio for over 40 years, from DJing and producing through to working as both a Programming and Production Manager at various stations. His extensive experience also covers training and mentoring, in-house at stations as well as for JMC Academy.   Peter currently works at Coast FM in Cairns.
Emma Couch is CMTO National Training Manager and a Technorama Board Member. Emma has a strong history in Community Radio. During university, she started volunteering at a local station and over the past 10 yrs has held various roles including Board Member, Broadcaster, Producer and Trainer, leading to a career with the CBAA and now the CMTO.

Emma’s interest in broadcast technology was piqued when she saw a need for her local station’s tech to have an apprentice. While not as handy as she had hoped to be on the tools, supported by her role at the CMTO Emma fulfilled a passion to encourage other would-be technologists into the right training pathways.
